Anya, a perspective student of a prestigious medical institute, has to quit her education and return to the hometown to take care of her family – her alcoholic father and little brother Vanya. The girl is unaware of the serious changes that are in store for her at home. Once the girl arrives, rumor is spread in town about the love affair between her late mother and Sergey, the chief physician of a local clinic. Anya decides to take DNA test on her younger brother. It turns out that Vanya’s father is Sergei, but Anya doesn’t know it because she cannot get the test results. Instead, Sergei and his son Mikhail come up with a wily adoption plan, in which the main role should be played by unsuspecting Anya…
