Anya is a hard-working girl and a loving wife. Only her mother-in-law thinks she is not a good match for her son and constantly picks on her. Moreover the company in which they invested the hard-earned money that they had saved for an apartment, goes bankrupt, and the young married couple, deep in debt, have to stay in Anya’s shared apartment. Anya’s husband Alexey cannot stand the pressure and runs off to Moscow to earn some money. Anya is left alone.
