Small Glushchevka is an unusual village. There is an abnormal zone where compasses break down, water flows uphill and, as a legend has it, an invaluable treasure is buried there. In search of the solution of local mysteries adventurous geologist Tim comes to Glushchevka.
One night, two girlfriends go to the mysterious forest – Tonya, a girlfriend of the best guy in the village, and a capricious townish student Ira. They both have problems in personal life, and decide to find a magical fern flower blooming only for one night. To their horror, instead of a miracle flower, they find Tim wounded and almost drowned in the damned Witch’s swamp…
