Zarina is a gypsy from a camp, free and beautiful. The son of the baron himself is crazy about Zarina and is ready to connect his life with her. But, contrary to the rules, a gypsy girl falls in love with a ‘stranger’ – Alexei, a young doctor from the capital. The guy reciprocates Zarina’s love, and seizes the opportunity and kidnaps the girl. The lovers have to overcome many obstacles to happiness: the villainy of the ex best friend from the camp, persecutions from a businessman offended by refusal, and rejection of the unequal marriage by relatives.
