The huge forest lake became a kind of border between two alien worlds. There are a luxurious holiday hotel and rich detached houses on one side of the lake, while on the other – a small modest village. The inhabitants of these two parallel universes rarely intersect with each other.
Spouses Antonina and Nikolai are ordinary inhabitants of the village. Antonina works at the bread factory, and Nikolai shuffles jobs on the construction site and in the stable. One day their marriage splits into pieces, and the faithful hubby leaves his wife for beautiful Alina, who owns a mansion on the other side of the lake.
