The ordinary accountant at a hospital Katerina Stroganova accidentally saves a patient’s life by giving him a heart massage and artificial respiration. But the woman is fired for arbitrariness, and the patient, who was brought back to life, is not happy at all to be rescued. After giving him all her small savings, Katya moves into the house to a rich, lonely old woman with an intolerable character to take care of her. No nurse yet managed to get along with her.
