Anya, a young girl with a perky character, returns to her home village from the orphanage, where she was put after her mother’s death. She comes to her older brother, whom she has not seen for many years, but he has got his own family and Anya is not welcome there.
Suddenly it turns out that the owner of a large local farm Yumashev is Anya’s father. Many years ago he left her mother. Now he repents and decides to make up for lost paternity.
Soon Yumashev unexpectedly dies, having managed to bequeath the farm to his daughter. However it doesn’t do her any good, as the defenseless girl has to confront a gang of criminals who want to seize this piece of land.
